Welcome, sistah!  Glad you could drop by.  I don't have anything here for readin' at the moment, but I do have stuff on the Choate Road and Graveside Tales websites (which you can find in the "links" section).  As for the new NoES... I am not happy about it.  Then again, I am never happy about remakes.  They are fucking up perfectly good franchises.  I'd rather the directors put out some original material instead of screwing up the classics.  But that's just me.

CONGRATS on your own website, maybe now I can catch up w. the rest of the world,& catch your stories.Nowadays,I'm mostly into the paranormal,& supernatural,so it'd be neat to read a good ol' slasher novella.I been dying to ask, what do ya think about the NEW Nightmare On Elm St.? Bringing a master to a new generation! =)

Oh, man, you guys are killin' me with your Acid Bath nostalgia.  That's okay, though.  I like hearin' it.  You just keep waxing horrific, good sir, and I'll keep a'readin' it.  I await the future head juice splashin's with baited breath . . . or is it 'baited traps' . . . I guess it depends on whether we're talkin' about reading poetry or huntin' zombies.

acid bath rocked. i remember many years ago... sitting on the tour bus outside of Zeppelin's bar in fat city, listening to dax riggs recite his insane poetry. everyone was so blasted(on what? i forget). he was such an inspiration in his green lantern t-shirt. ....oh, the memories of several lifetimes ago...i would wax nostalgic if i wasn't so damn busy waxing horrific.

Thanks for perusing the pages, Mr. Hughes.  The honor is all mine.  Can't wait to share the pages of LGoH with you!  Hmmm, think I'll make cashew fudge instead of cookies in celebration.

Aw, no fair!  You're using quotes from stuff I've not read or heard!  Heh.  You win this time.  I'll just have to leave you with a bit from an old favorite:  "Slow desolation, like a funeral procession; the lovely one screams like she's caught between stations . . ."

Hell-o! Just thought I'd sign the guestbook. Bake and scarf away, hehe. Glad we have become buds and it's an honor to be in Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror with you. You rock.

"The shotgun's warm, the room is red, the sky is always gray... and underneath the godless gray, a billion corpses pray: There's enough rat poison for us all... On a black and silent moon, we drift on this dead sea when you touch the coldness, kiss the dead for me." -D.R.

n0thIng?  Is that you?  Eh, don't worry about cleaning up.  No one's going to notice one tiny mess amongst the rotting corpses.  I am glad you found my work entertaining.  I do appreciate the kind words.  Tell you what, you hold on to the bottle of spirits; I'm a'gonna make us some blueberry tarts.  Then we'll eat, drink, smoke and be merry (or as merry as two morbid souls can be) until next Halloween rolls around.

Thanks for dropping by, Mike!  Glad you enjoyed Postpartum and the Letters serial.  Not a fan of happy endings, either, but I do like to incorporate a little humor here and there.  Much enjoyed the piece you sent in for Road Trip, by the way.  I need to check out your other work.

Hmm, think I'll go with brownies this time.  Not exactly a pastry, but it's sugary and sweet!

Enjoyed browsing the site. I am working on one of my own at present.
Read "Postmortem" today. Very nice work! I'm not much of a happy ending guy, so I enjoyed it immensely. :)
Also started the Psycho Letters. ROFL! That is just great stuff. Look forward to reading through the rest when I have more time.
Enjoy whatever pastry my guestbook signing dictates you must now consume.

Thanks for visiting my humble online home, Barbara!  *curtsies*  It is true that Southern dishes contain many dark and devilish things--like fat, sugar and other atrocities--but they sure are tasty.  And I do so love cooking (and eating) tasty food, regardless of the evils contained therein.

Let the Buckhead Brats sweat and bemoan their figures!  Serves 'em right for hitting the Cheesecake Factory for brunch.  My thighs haven't been thin since...well, they've never been thin, to be honest.  I exercise, but I really don't care about being skinny--just alive, ha ha!

Thanks again for dropping by!  I shall bake a cherry pie in your honor.

Frankly, I'm just here because you said on your home-page you'd eat some dessert what-not (Pastry?) if a new person signed your guest-book. I appreciate why this is a dark proposition. There are many calories in dessert what-nots in the South. (In fact, there are many calories in ANY what-nots cooked in a Southern style.) It's never been vampires in Atlanta. Oh, no. Calories in the form of sugar and grease are the main gremlins that keep frightened women up late at night in Buckhead.... up late running on their treadmills, racing as fast as they can to get away from the horrendously hideous buggers.... You're either very brave if you don't mind inviting them into your body just because someone read your work.... Or you have smaller thighs than I do. Hmmm.... Cool website, btw. :)

Nni!!

'Tis a pleasure to have you visit my humble online home. I am glad the site meets with your approval. There is nothing worse than being lame like Norway (I am sooo ready for Season 3 of Metalocalypse to begin).

I'll get to work on those Zombie Apocalypse roadsigns right away. You know it's a' comin'.

"I haven't signed Myrrym's Guestbook." I thought quietly to myself, "I shall sign it now." Wonderful site, it is not at all lame like Norway! May mucho grande success be forthcoming. :) I shall now go and read "Letters", I'm sure I've missed one or two along the way. And don't forget, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, make sure the road signs are well lit up and read "Zombies Ahead".

Thanks, Justin!  I appreciate the kind words.

LOL, perhaps 'giddiness' is a bit of a Southernism.  I've always used it interchangeably with 'dizziness'.

Just got done with A SEVERE DISADVANTAGE. I love a good zombie story and I was not disappointed! Your writng style is simple with an economy of words, but it's more than enough...a gripping tale! What I really want to know is this: Does spraining her ankle make her giddy in the same way that she is giddy when tired because she watched the late show? Just curious :)
